Our company is approximately five years old. The founding company for moneyfromhome.com, now known as Abili-Staff, Ltd., was started in June, 1996. We are based in the beautiful Alamo City, San Antonio, Texas but our business model involves home-based employees and contractors all over the U.S. (That's why you hear so many clicks on the line if you call our office and your call is transferred.) Our company hires home-based labor whenever possible.

Our company is a strong advocate for what we believe is a healthier, less-stressful, more sensible, environmentally-friendly lifestyle of home-based employment and we are proud proponents of family values. We believe that children need and deserve a stable, loving environment in which to learn, grow and become who they will be, and that parents should be able to stay home to love and raise their children if they so choose. Schools and day care centers are wonderful. But they are no substitute for loving and supportive parental influence.

Our company was started by an entrepreneur who had previous business experience hiring home-based labor. The idea was partially inspired by one special mother who, before technology made it easier, accepted great challenge and sacrifice to find a work at home job so she could stay home with her newborn daughter who had been born with a very serious heart condition and was not expected to live very long. That mother, loving and courageous, fought to be with her daughter with the might and determination of a mother bear fighting for her cub. She succeeded in staying at her daughter's side until her daughter died before the age of 5. This courageous parent still inspires us to do all we can to help families who -- for what ever reason -- want to have more time together.

We are in the business of providing legitimate career and job information to people who want to work at home. We are the national leader in providing legitimate home-based employment information and we are unequalled in this field. We publish the information in hard copy (book) form and electronically on the internet. We typically offer between 500 and 700 listings and each one generally includes the name of the company who is hiring, how to contact them, a job title, job description, and requirements for qualifying for the position. Employers with legitimate employment opportunities receive unlimited free advertising at our site(s). We list jobs (employee and contractor relationships) and business opportunities and we have high standards for the types of businesses or offers that we will list. We do NOT list any offer that we feel is misleading, dishonest, illegitimate, illegal, or unethical. One does not find many MLM or network marketing offers at our site, or affiliate program offers, or envelope stuffing offers. We strive to keep our information affordable so that virtually anyone can benefit from it. We are responsive to nonprofit organizations who seek to use our information to help those that they serve.

Our business practices are very consumer-friendly. As a good company in an industry that has, unfortunately, seen more than its share of bad reputations, we go out of our way to make sure that our company is operated with impeccable credibility. This includes accurate and honest advertising, (sometimes painfully honest advertising) and policies that are very fair and pleasing to most consumers. This includes clear and fairly administered refund policies, privacy policies, customer service standards, and open channels for communication so that we can be alerted if and when there is an opportunity for improvement. We hope we have acquired a reputation for absolute fairness and for administering our policies to the letter.
